I think it's a little risky studying chimps, because they're so much like us that it's tempting to think they're even more like us than they might actually be.. plus they can chew your face off.

According to Autism specialist Simon Baron-Cohen, these chimps are more human than autistic people. Then he wonders why autistic people are angry at his assumptions. Genius-1, common sense-0.
