do you mean Stephen J Gould, the biologist and paleontologist?
A little outside of his field, he would probably have said it was an interesting geological phenomenon, with little effect on his field.
the "blob" is moving over period of millions of years. rock at that depth and pressure will deform and flow very, very slowly.(not noticeble over a lifetime slowly)
if you were speaking of someone else, then sorry, my mistake. :-)
OH come on, just who the heck are we trying to kid. Fifty years after atomic underground testing and we are supposed to believe that this thing is twenty to thirty million years old?? ?? ??
Get a lifeand realize that once again the all mighty scientists and our government are pulling the perverbial wool over our eyes. Why don't they just tell us the date that they expect this"THING" to break the surface crust of the earth and just how much radiation we can expect it to emit to kill off all of the humans. and just how long it will take to harness its powers against the nasty North Koreans.
I am betting that is the plan.
Check your insurance policy for the insurance clause that will exclude them from paying for any damage or destruction that it will cause as well.
Danwill, Go check the bottom of your house well and tell me just what you found, I'm betting a lot more that a couple of old pennies and a shoe without any laces.
you better have a lot of co2 fire tanks on hand to freeze that thing when it comes out of its shell.
Nutcase my ...! I didn't live to be ninety seven and see a man walk on the moon and not think for a moment that there is more to this earth than meets the eye.
at the actual rate of movement (which is measured in geological timescales) your hair would grow faster than this thing actually moves.(millions of years)
it is a rock, just a large, and dense rock that has shown some interesting properties that would never even been guessed at without using new, modern imaging and measurement techniques. it's not going to "break out of it's shell", it's sinking. as in deeper into the earth and away from us.
and yes, rocks in the mantle of the earth will flow (slowly) due to the heat and pressure.
now, if you were making a joke, I hereby apologize, especially for missing it
What if it's the giant ants that were made giant from all the nukular testing in the 50's , 60's , and 70's that are digging to the center of the earth to let all the dinosaurs out that are living down there ?
This is a lie, according to the koo koo cristians there is no way the earth can even be this old. Dinosaurs are teh devils work to make us question our faith. these scientists are going to hell.
I beleive in science so I am going to hell too. I would suggest that a better understanding of the ground beneath our feet, even the parts that aren't going to kill us tomorrow, can only help us in the long run. This is especially true in an area like the Basin and Range where volcanism and tectonic movement are rife. The structure itself is not threatening, but will likely contribute to understanding this volatile region.
They found a previously unknown object under the ground, it has no value so you say we should stop looking for stuff? Your the same type of people that said buying Alaska was worthless, right up until they found that other blob of black stuff under there.
If you never look under the rock, you never know whats under it, it could be nothing, or it could be water, oil, gold, magma, or some previously unknown thing.
I wonder if the key to finding this was the Bouvier gravity mapping that is still on-going through the USGS... Kentucky has several areas of high gravity, many of which remained unexplained.
It would make sense that an area of very dense rock would show up as higher gravity, especially if it was sinking into the mantle in the manner described. I would love to learn more about this.
I learned about this principle many years ago, when I took geology. I don't know if there was such a dramatic example to use to demonstrate the principle, but the idea that different rock of different densities migrates vertically was very well known. That was at least ten years ago. And it was so un-controversial that they taught it to college kids in a 100 level course.
So... People like our friends above either don't want to study this becasuse we (A) already knew this, end of story; or (B) didn't know we already knew this and don't want to know now. I completely understand how some people would say, "I work in customer service, I don't need to know what makes up the lithosphere." And I also respect that they make up the majority. However, I don't find the causal link that suggests no one deserves to know.
We have this discussion every single week, though - about something. I guess it's just ritual for everyone involved. Honestly, I kind of enjoy alligning myself on the side of knowledge; I presume the same is true for people alligning themselves with ignorance.
wonder what it is made up of. Gold and silver melt at low temp. and gold is extememly dense even though soft. Nevada is known for silver and gold. Wish they would of said. Be funny if they found enough gold to cancel the national debt and could not get to it.
Well considering we can't dig that deep (some 22 miles through solid rock is hell on drills) and in the event we were to, we would be vaporized due to the temperature of the rock around us and we would be crushed like a tin can due to the air pressure. Remember what happens to a submarine when it passes its operational depth? Yeah...
I think they're full of it. What they're experiencing is cooler molten rock sinking and hotter molten rock rising just like hot air rises and cooler air sinks. These people are stupid to assume they know what's going on with weight and density. My theory is just as valid and probably more right than theirs is and I didn't get paid to produce the results.
Here's the skinny folks. What difference does it make? This article was a waste of bandwidth.
If our government hadn't funded research in just about every field, for all of my long life, "bepatient" could sit on his behind and behungry because our economy would not support any of us. Ignorance is only bliss while more knowledgeable people carry most of your share of our economic burden.
While it is true that geologists feel that the mantle has convection currents, much like you describe, bepatient, there are also many areas of higher gravity, which is measured and can be mapped. Some geologists feel the areas of higher gravity reflect deposits of heavy minerals, and others study how oil and gas supplies are related to areas of higher gravity.
No study is without its merit in the geologic world. Any little piece of information we can learn today may help us in the future.
They have a weird news headlines once in a while. I would think this would definatly fall into that catagory. They need to send somebody down there and check it out for us all to see. They don't even have to go into outer space. They can drill for oil while there going down there. There is more oil in the west than anywhere on the face of the earth. We don't need no stinking electric cars. Just tap the big honey pot.
Send Oprah! she is heavy enough to sink, and if you are concerned for her safety, we can tie my welding leads around her. As my leads snag on everything in and out of sight, it will be impossible for her to sink all the way to hell!
Beware of The Blob, it creeps And leaps and glides and slides Across the floor Right through the door And all around the wall A splotch, a blotch Be careful of The Blob
I saw it for the first time in the spring of 1967, at a pajama party-- 3 little girls in a double bed, giggling at "The Blob". A perfect horror movie for little girls.
Gosh, of the 3, I'm the only one left alive. Now THAT's not a good thought to take with you for the day!
Steech, I'm going to see if I can download that song-- I don't remember it, and would enjoy it! Great comment above! I, too, prefer to align myself with knowledge. In geology, you never know which specific piece of information will be of help later on. KY's highest gravity field is in front of the Pine Mountain Overthrust Fault, in a 'band', running parallel to the fault. Southeast KY. Lots of structure in there that I wish I understood better. I wrote a professional paper about the area, "Geologic Controls on Lineament Systems, Pine Mountain, KY". Alas, it has been WAY too long since I took a geology class, and way too long since I wrote that paper to even remember much about it.
Dowser, I grew up in Corbin, KY. I have fond memories of Cumberland falls. I remember fried frog legs at the restaurant at the park, a lot of taxidermy, and a ghost story about a Civil War bride who had a baby in the woods while Yankee marauders prowled the forest for Christian babies to devour whole (part of the Southern indoctrination rite by my CSA sympathizer parents). I never went to Mammoth cave, strangely. Maybe I'll return one day.
The Groovie Ghoulies song is a good one, but probably not for everyone. It would depend on how you feel about the Ramones, really. That's what the band was doing. I had the opportunity to play a couple of songs with Kepi Ghoulie last summer. That was really fun and meant a lot to me, as I was a huge fan when I was younger. I'll send you a link to the song later, if I can find one.
Corbin! My Heavens! That is just down the road a piece! How closely our lives are woven. I am inordinately pleased to have something else in common with you. Col. Sanders had a fabulous restaurant-- my parents used to drive all the way over from Owensboro, my hometown, to eat with Col. Sanders, and visit Cumberland Falls. I love the lodge there, too.
I know about the CSA indoctrination. I never heard the word, "Grant", without the addition of, "That Snake". Too bad I like him, (said sheepishly). Hey, he loved his wife.
I certainly hope that you can make it to Mammoth Cave some day. It is a great place and the tours are very reasonable. We just went on the Niagara Falls tour and it was $24 for all three of us. Besides being fun, educational, awe-inspiring, etc. Let me know if you all decide to visit someday, and I'll tell you where the best rock shops are... You know, the ones that sell real rocks, not glass.
I would love a link to the song. I always liked the Ramones... I'm not so good with names of things, and am still trying to learn. My dear husband has an encyclopedic memory of who sang what and when, but I have a little more trouble with it. I am so impressed that you played with Kepi Ghoulie! WOW. How I wish you could meet my childhood friend, Bob, who has perfect pitch, and is multi-gifted. You both would really like each other!
Take care, dear Steech. I am always so glad to see you!
The only link I could find was for an album I didn't know existed. Apparently, the band re-recorded a lot of old songs for a retrospective. These are not the original versions, but nothing has been changed about their compositions, so they basically function as examples. The 1989 version is waaaaaaaay better though.
This album's really weird actually... Covers of Daniel Johnston, The Monkees, Herman's Hermits, and The Ramones. The originals are mostly old songs (from the first three albums, with little from later albums). "Blood Beach" is another really good one from the '89 album.
These scientists should be searched for cheap Mexican drugs delivered to them via the Cartel ! This oozing blob is a direct result of global warming...what would Al Gore say about the carbon footprint ? It is all our fault, but don't blame yourself...blame society.
Its the darned liberals. If we didnt have the socialist, marxest, left wing liberals running the show that blob wouldnt stand a chance. Just another terrorist act that is getting away. Dont say I didnt tell you this would happen because you voted democrat.
When I read the headline "Big blob found deep beneath Nevada," I though cheney found a new secret location in which hide. I was a little disappointed to find out otherwise.
But your 1st thought was RIGHT! It IS Cheney in his true state......blob monster trying - yet FAILING NOW MORE THAN EVER - to scare everybody! No the blob will only turn around and devour Cheney.....GOOD RIDDANCE TO RUBBISH!
Not possible. We use the toxins to mfg American beer. God bless Canadian beer, even though it is expensive I know it is not made from a blob under Nevada.
Obama will now have another thing to blame on the previous administration..his teleprompter is being programed to give a speech about this blob Bush created and Pelosi is writing a bill to ask for a Billion dollars to bail it out!
How is this relevant to anything? I can't believe these people get government grants to explore this crap... I'm sorry they're not people they're Scientists. How does this help anyone? Take that same money and do something useful with it. About as useful as the grant for artists who piss and crap in a pickle jar and call it ART. and we all pay for it...
Take that same money and do something useful with it
oh, mindless and ignorant one, please "enlighten us" as to what your great idea is regarding how to spend money other than at universities educating people.
and just what do you mean by "they're scientists"? jealous because you reside on the lower end of the intelligence scale? I'm sure that you would rather people were "edumacated" like you.
note the part of the article that says Arizona State UNIVERSITY, what they really are is a bunch of professors and students going for their advanced degrees learning about geology. probably at least some of these students will get jobs at major oil companies using what they learned here mapping underground rock formations to find oil for your useless arse to squander.
motorcity, I happily denigrate any fool who uses "scientist" as a deregatory term. IE . "I'm sorry they're not people they're Scientists".
such a mindless sentiment will be the cause of this great country to fall into obscurity, maintaining our technological edge is all we have in this competitive world, and the stupid blather of religious far-right neo-con idiots that think all scientists are doing the "devils work" will be the downfall of the USA!
stupid people sit around blithely proclaiming "we're number one!" without having any effing clue just how precarious our position really is, or even worse "god will save us!". well guess what? god isn't going to help us if we're too stupid and arrogant to even educate our kids!
call me whatever names you want motorcity, but I would like for the US to remain a leader, and I don't suffer fools who attack higher learning and knowledge gladly.
name this country:
Richest in the world, largest and most powerful military, center of world business and finance, strongest education system, center of innovation and invention, the currency is the world standard, and the highest standard of living.
can you name that country?
Great Britain in 1900
except the US education system is already a joke, and "home skuulers" who do so to "protect their children from the devil-worshipping evolutionists" are going to doom us.
better be prepared to live in the "second (or third) most important country on earth motormouth, because china and india are going to pass us up very soon.
the top 20 % of chinese (or indian)students exceeds the total number of american students, and they aren't sitting around studying "business administration, psychology and nursing" which are the top three college majors in the US
biology is fourth, freaking poly-ticks (many bloodsuckers)is number nine, and computer science is number ten.
nobody here in the US wants to even be bothered by "hard science" anymore, and fools start using "scientist" as a derogatory term.
fools that want to listen to rush limpbag and feel good about "how jealous the world is of our lifestyle" when the world is laughing at us and getting ready to pass us by.
You're worried about this happening in the future? Look at this story: most of the comments have been about Oprah or beer or several different sets of politicians, and rants.
School's out. Our students are demonstrating what they (don't) know.
Extrapolate that to where we will be in 10 or 20 years and it's a foregone conclusion. Doomed. But we'll have plenty of Oprah jokes.
Danwill, I'm actually more surprised you didn't come to the Pissing and Pooping artists defense. You must be a huge intellectual in the scientific community to get your panties in such a bunch? You want your tax dollars going to these "people" or would you like me to use "scientists" ? researching a honey dripping blob? I think we need to cut spending and this seems like a great place to start. Just like I don't care about a huge blob dripping honey. I don't care about some Artist crapping in a mug. As long as tax dollars aren't going to fund it.....I don't care. Sorry if My words if they were to come true would put you out of work... but again I don't care... This is worthless to be funding. Go empty your bank account and pony up if you feel so strongly about it ..... or go explore your blob of a wife and wait for her to start to dripping.... It has the same relevance in the big scheme of things.
well greg, I'm trying to keep this country in a leadership position, YOU are the one that is whining about your wallet. BTW, my job is in IT, this has no effect on my employment whatsoever.
if YOU are going to piss and moan, cut where the REAL money is being wasted.
frankly, unless you happen to live in arizona, it is entirely possible that not a single penny of YOUR money was spent on this "boondoggle". so if you DON't live in arizona then STFU fool.
A blob and leadership.... two great tastes that go great together.
Dan, I guess what I've noticed throughout reading any of your replies is you seem to have Balls of steel online. You jump right in on someone with the name calling. Trying to show off some profound intellect. If I found you on the street and I made a comment in a group of people and you started in with one of your high and mighty rants, I'd probably have you by your throat and taking you to the back alley were we could finish our conversation.
I don't need to have a stick up my #ss to have a valid point about how our government doles out grants. I'm not concerned about my wallet... the government is going to tax away as they always do. But we aren't in the same place as we were years ago. New economic conditions call for changes and this seems like wasteful spending at its best. That is why I equated it to art in the pickle jar..
Chances are that this study has been going on for a number of years, the findings would have only been released after they had some results of study. I also think it is a good idea to study under ground features and this is a good way for students to get field experience. By study ground features many important things have been found, such as the Ogallala Aquifer and oil under Alaska, both two "blobs" that people thought were a waste of tax payer money.
Also grants for any researh are harder to get now as well.
geology, this sounds like it was a student-professor geology research field trip, which is fairly common among geology students, since they have to go where the interesting geology is. It matters because these are the people or the "scientists" that will be using the techniques that they rether learned or developed to map this slowly oozing rock (the "honey" was a metaphor to make it easier to visualize the movement of the rock BTW) later when they get jobs doing things like looking for oil or other resources that are needed to continue our growth. some may get jobs doing simpler things like cheking the strata under a location that someone wants to build a home on. in which case I would like them to have some idea what they are doing if it is my house. these are a couple of examples why the money spent on geology is not wasted, and in fact will repay itself with the taxes on the money generated by their jobs, as well as the overall boost to the economy as a whole.
actually I can make a similar defense for some (not all, like your poop-in-a-bottle nutcase) artists. such as those that will end up in hollywood (or wherever) production houses working in the special effects department. or those that work in advertising, which is a necessary evil to maintain our consumer driven economy. these are also high paying jobs that generate returns far exceeding what was spent on their education, as well as reducing the trade deficit since movies are one of our few bright spots regarding exports. whether you approve of the output of hollywood or not is irrelevent., I'm talking economics here. your poop-in-a-bottle "artists" I could care less about.
as far as dragging me into an alley, please don't, I really don't know how to fistfight, and I hate pain, so you win, I'd just walk away. I only know how to defend myself in a life or death situation, and I can do that very well. The guy who tried to mug me many years ago learned that the hard way. I'm NOT tough,so you win.
Have you ever tried not to act like a dick?? then there is usually no reason for one to get in any altercations. I've worked around some of the biggest brutes and ex con bad asses anyone would wish to know. even though they, we, me.... might not be the sharpest tools in the shed. I've found that most have a good side... talk down to any of them the way you banter on to many on here....... You'd be gutted to say the least. Respect will get you through anything with anyone.
ok greg, you want to cut government spending and waste. that is a noble and worthwhile cause that I fully support. I just think that cutting basic research and education is a terrible place to start when there are so many other government programs that return very little to nothing at all and cost far more.
The thing about these little "science blurb" stories is that even though the thing that is discovered seems to be a "so what?" thing, there are almost always practical applications for the tools and techniques used to learn these little "so what?" stories. and many of these are the "cutting edge" that we need to stay ahead.
so greg, going back to the very beginning. where you ask "how is it relevant?", and "how does this help anyone?". does this answer your questions?
and does it adequately answer your question without offending you?
Seriously, humans have not been on the earth long enough to know what is going on. If we are around a million years from now.......maybe. But, I think like everything else, we will be fossils.
Enjoy life while you can.
Mother Nature is more powerful than us. We cannot even predict the weather, let alone, change it. They have been trying to create rain for over a hundred years with no real luck. Remember Barnum's famous quote.
And people are surprised to find something that drips in Nevada why? I'm more than pretty sure there's alotta drippin goin on there, and hey if it does sink, just hope it's on the mormons side, they sorta freak me out.
The Martians are coming...beware Mormons, beware! (Don't all of you remember the B grade movies from the 50s?). The "blob" is going to come and eat everybody, including all the Bible-bangers! "Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!".
Wonder what the late Mr Gold would have to say about this?
mr Gold who?
do you mean Stephen J Gould, the biologist and paleontologist?
A little outside of his field, he would probably have said it was an interesting geological phenomenon, with little effect on his field.
the "blob" is moving over period of millions of years. rock at that depth and pressure will deform and flow very, very slowly.(not noticeble over a lifetime slowly)
if you were speaking of someone else, then sorry, my mistake. :-)
Oh you silly little people.... everyone knows the earth is hollow and full of alien spacecraft, Yetis and Sasquachs.
no, it's turtles all the way down.
Thomas Gold, Cornell, Astronomy?
There was a PBS show recently, about this outre sort of man. Regardless, he was a very knowledgeable person. I love to think of what he might say.
"That Giant Blob is Rush Limbaugh"
harry reid will build a high speed railline from this to california for sure maybe even to chicago.
Obama must be responsible somehow. "dad burn libs scum'n up da planet!
thanks woodysr

1-Christians, not cristians
2-never heard a Christian claim dinosaurs are the devil's work
3-the Bible doesnt teach Cain did ANYTHING with his mom.
4-your comments on Christianity relate to misguided demonations, NOT Christianity as a whole, but you are an idiot so i dont expect you to know this.
as far as signing you up for the 'tard' following, i think you are their leader.
Truly Amazed, that was excellent. (standing ovation)
Is that where Limbaugh sleeps at night?
"Giant blob found deep beneath Nevada"
I didn't realize Rush Scumbaugh was missing!!!
When I read the headline I thought Rosie O'donnell had gone spelunking.
Oprah is a blob! I remember years ago when she got arrested. Police found 40 pounds of crack under her dress!
Stella, Tucson, ................. you meant to say Bwarney Fwank, right ? One of the Root cause's of the Sub-Prime Mortgage Meltdown, or do you have a case of severe denial ?
Rush is a butthole thought, lol !

Limpbag deflated after a Vegas trip.

so jeff c, motorcity, all university students should be doing , what? sitting at home instead of doing the research that gives them degrees?
"just stay home, NOW is not the time!!!!!, don't spend any money on research or education or seeking knowledge"
Oprah is also massive, and most likely "drips".

You really don't like any article on MSNBC, do you ??
Oprah is full of hot air, but heavy enough to sink.
If our government hadn't funded research in just about every field, for all of my long life, "bepatient" could sit on his behind and behungry because our economy would not support any of us. Ignorance is only bliss while more knowledgeable people carry most of your share of our economic burden.
nah, bepatient would sit around and tell everyone about how it should be.
which wouldn't necessarily have any connection whatsoever to the way it is.
Why do you hate poor Oprah so? Because she is successful, and you envy that? Or just because you can hit out at her where she can't really hit back?
Guess what - Oprah doesn't crack "howitzer cannon" jokes, 'cos she doesn't know you exist!
Beware of The Blob, it creeps
And leaps and glides and slides
Across the floor
Right through the door
And all around the wall
A splotch, a blotch
Be careful of The Blob
The stuff that 1950s movies are made of.
The Blob... Steve McQueens first movie? Drag racing... in reverse, in a six cylinder Plymouth! A fun, cute movie! Complete with Marshall Dillon!
It was a good movie!
"You're a lot like the blob / You don't seem so bad at first / But when you start to grow on someone / They feel kind of cursed"
"The Blob," Groovie Ghoulies (Sacramento rock band), 1989.
No actually it was a film called "Girl on the Run" in 1953. "The Blob" was McQueen's fourth film in 1958.
"Look out behind you lady it's the blob!"
Exeder-- thanks for the quote! It was great!

Steech-- great song! I bookmarked it, so I could find it again. Thanks for the link!
I hope you have a great weekend, and I'll look forward to seeing you next week--
Jim, thanks for triggering my memory of that song.
I strongly believe it is one of Oprah's ancestors, for 3 reasons. 1. Giant 2. oozing 3. blob.
These scientists should be searched for cheap Mexican drugs delivered to them via the Cartel ! This oozing blob is a direct result of global warming...what would Al Gore say about the carbon footprint ? It is all our fault, but don't blame yourself...blame society.
I'm low on Canadian beer. Are you out of styraphome yet?
2 kids,,,, Just piss it back in the bottle, that's what Canadians do
American beer caused me to misspell styrafoam
joseph; Gore has already been there and declared it is the work of " Manbearpig ". then he flew off somewhere .
2kids,
it's 'styrofoam'
stay away from the american beer
it's oil dip wad. very very crude oil. go get it. burn it up and create greenhouse effect. weeee!
If it's vegetable oil, Rachael Ray could drink it all and then go weeeeeeee.
I'm telling you... it's tootsie roll at the center...
Its the darned liberals. If we didnt have the socialist, marxest, left wing liberals running the show that blob wouldnt stand a chance. Just another terrorist act that is getting away. Dont say I didnt tell you this would happen because you voted democrat.
When the blob come to your front door, you, like Cheney, will run and hide!
Now we know where dick cheney was hiding.
Couldn't have anything to do with the hundred nuclear bombs they lit off, could it?
Not possible. We use the toxins to mfg American beer. God bless Canadian beer, even though it is expensive I know it is not made from a blob under Nevada.
Obama will now have another thing to blame on the previous administration..his teleprompter is being programed to give a speech about this blob Bush created and Pelosi is writing a bill to ask for a Billion dollars to bail it out!
The blob is waiting outside you kitchen!
But it's for sure that Obama can solve it! He can do anything!!!!!
I mean, he can TALK about doing anything...
My vote is for it being Al Gore.
Giant lie, oozing propoganda, a blob on society.
Kim, you have my vote. Uneducated as I may be, I will exorcism my vote to your comment.
When the blob comes and eats you you will be sorry for these comments!!!!!!!!!!!
Where is Steve McQueen when you need him?
Tied to Oprah with my welding leads. The stuff down there may be edible, so the real question is-Where is Jeffrey Dahmer?
2 Kids,
So far I know you have time to watch Rachael Ray, Oprah, drink Canadian beer, and type on newsvine. Thanks for stopping by.
At last...somebody has found Harry Reid's brain.
This will be used by some environmentalist to devise some junk-science story to protect the earth/environment and raise our taxes.
oh, mindless and ignorant one, please "enlighten us" as to what your great idea is regarding how to spend money other than at universities educating people.
and just what do you mean by "they're scientists"? jealous because you reside on the lower end of the intelligence scale?
Doomed. But we'll have plenty of Oprah jokes.
it is really very entertaining to see high school dropouts opine about what scientists should do etc ...keep it up ....funny little people ...
Also grants for any researh are harder to get now as well.
greg, let me try "why does it matter?"
geology, this sounds like it was a student-professor geology research field trip, which is fairly common among geology students, since they have to go where the interesting geology is.
Kathy - are you referring to "A fool and his money are quickly parted"?
On Newsvine, even a big blob of quasi-magmic goo is grounds for a political statement.
LOL, I've been laughing at the political statements in this vine. Ridiculous. Even the jokes.
hey, I am trying to get into Stand Up and I am practicing my jokes here. Gosh, can't find a job, might as well try comedy, does no use crying.
Jean, try these:
When I was a kid my father bought me a swing set......he set it up facing the wall!
My husband wanted to make love in the back sat of the car last night......he asked me to drive!!!
I'm such a lousy cook, I use the smoke detector as a timer. In our house we pray AFTER we eat!!! Even the roaches are anorexic!!
I was such an ugly kid, during halloween my dad stuck a candle in my mouth and made me look out the window. When I was born they slapped my mother!
In the winter I wanted to go ice skating on the lake....my father said, "Honey, why don't you wait till is warms up a little bit!!"
B,
LOL
And people are surprised to find something that drips in Nevada why? I'm more than pretty sure there's alotta drippin goin on there, and hey if it does sink, just hope it's on the mormons side, they sorta freak me out.
The Martians are coming...beware Mormons, beware! (Don't all of you remember the B grade movies from the 50s?). The "blob" is going to come and eat everybody, including all the Bible-bangers! "Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!".
