I use twitter like a scrapbook to keep memories and share thoughts with friends. Not because I'm a vain celebrity.

    Joined both (FB and MS), am finding both a pain in the a** to maintain (although I did find some old work and school pals on Facebook)!

      Actually, all 3...But, I rarely use myspace anymore. I use it to check in on my grandson in Calif. Love Facebook & Twitter, though.

        Get with the times MSNBC - where's the option to Tweet and link it to Facebook? Both sites in combo are useful and fun - AND I'm over 40!

          i use twitter instead of the 'alerts' by various messenger programs; use twitter more for incoming info than to share with outgoing info ;-

            At 63 Facebook is where I find fellow graduates and can communicate with them. Others my age haven't caught on to Twitter, so I gave it up

                  I actually use all 3, but I prefer Myspace b/c the option for colorful backgrounds that show one's personality.

                      And yes, I've tried them. I found them pointless.

                        Connecting can be fun and useful, but some users may find it liberating to take a break from rabid networking. Say no to tech slavery.
