Form I-130 may be completed by a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States who wants to petition for an alien relative to immigrate to the United States of America.
replace "UFO" and "flying saucer" with "religion" throughout the article lol. people's widespread belief in religions is the result of a conspiracy (you have to eliminate unintentional too, my bad) Oh yeah, and there is more real physical evidence to support UFOs than there is to support religion.
This isn't news, it's an advertisement for a book. There isn't even an excerpt to back up any of the claims he makes. This really doesn't belong on a news site.
Actually, an alien event that still puzzles me is the one that happened in some very small town in central Texas in the 1890's. The newspaper reports that some 'flying machine' crashed into a windmill and that people near the crash site saw actual bodies, not of this world. A few things make this interesting: they couldn't have been confused with the excuse of today that it was 1). a weather balloon (they didn't have them then) 2). an errant plane (they certainly didn't have them then and 3). that there wasn't the impetus to fake a story for some publicity reasone like the above mentioned book.
Supposedly, there is a grave with the remains of that individual and the town still can't explain what happened after all these years. One of those things that make you go, "Hmmmmm".
There was only one machine in that time period that could even come close to the description and that was a very slow cigar shaped lighter than air ship that only went a handfull of knots and it was hundreds of miles away and was not even airborne at the time. Furthermore this UFO did things and traveled at velocities that would not be matched for at least 60 years and even now the agility of this craft cannot be replicated. This one case has more physical evidence than even the much maligned Roswell debacle, I recently spoke with a witness that I have no reason to doubt and he informed me that there is more truth to the Roswell crash than the government will ever reveal!...Project Mogul.test dummies weather ballons indeed! the Truth is not out there...it's here NOW!!
Schroedingers Cat ... "I recently spoke with a witness that I have no reason to doubt ..."
Hmmm ... so this happened in the 1890s (anywhere between 1890 & 1899) which would make this person between 100 and 109 years old. Now, if he was an "eyewitness" then they would have to be old enough to understand what he was looking at. So to play devil's advocate ... lets put him @ 10 years old when the event happened. Now saying this I would have believe he was born between 1880 and 1889; making him between 110 and 120 when you spoke to him.
Do you understand why I think you lack credibility?
It's aliens. I've seen 'em. Anyone besides me read "Have Spacesuit -- Will Travel" by Robt. Heinlein in the past few months? He wrote that in 1958s, a few years after the Lubbock Lights show in 1951. I read it when I was 13. There are more things in heaven and earth, Arizona.....
Arizona.. Iwas talking about the ROSWELL incident!! NOT the incident in TEXAS!! but I should have been more specific seeing as how we were commenting on 2 different circumstances. I spoke with a man connected with Roswell in his eighties. Credibility restored.
The Texas example and Roswell...hmm...I love how they can never stick the landing!! Amazing technology to get here, but not skilled enough to make a turn instead of hitting a thin windmill in the middle of a big open Texas plain. And...no one marked the grave? A small town like that would be the type of thing where everyone in town would remember forever where that original grave was, let alone what was in it. No. Those two stories are not true.
Note...in the future when you want people to believe in something, try not to pre-qualify it with anecdotal statements like "I recently spoke with a witness that I have no reason to doubt...". That just makes the reader prep to be skeptical.
That is odd that they can't seem to land safely, perhaps it is the odd electromagnetic or gravitational forces at work. Then again maybe they are like tourists and keep making mistakes because they are gawking at we humans and our structures and crash. Imagine it, alien tourists with knee high socks and sandals with their fanny packs and cameras and bumper stickers on the ships like I've just been to Uranus!
Let me make sure that I understand what is being said . . .
You are maketing me a book about 'flying saucers' whose main premise is that 'flying saucers' came about because of marketing! Anyone besides me see the irony in this?
This is Schroedingers Cat saying this book is about Schroedingers Cat written by Schroedingers Cat...yes this is a mobius about a mobius built by a mobius..ad infiitumi!
The article is ridiculous! I agree with Jaimie L 100%. Don't bother spending a dime on the book, as the whole premise is silly and just one big assumption, backed up by more assumptions. There is so much valuable information on actual ufo reports which are available to the public. It's idiotic books like these that make a mockery of the pursuit of truth.
Tell my mother that UFO's are a marketing ploy! the ship that hoverd over her house in 1981 and then hoverd only feet from the ground so close that she could see what you would describe the as the bridge did not open up to reveal an alien or man in a 60's style suit trying to sell my mother a vacum cleaner or brushes. This was witnessed by numerous people in the area,as well as many sightings in a 3 week period in and around Rickenbacker Air Base and surrounding counties. Majestic 13 was not an advertising agency run by the War department, and Forestal was pushed
Totally agree with you Schroedingers Cat! The days of finger pointing and laughs may be coming to an end. Many Astrophysicists having seen the constantly updated, growing list of exoplanets being found by our orbiting satellites and planetary probes tells a completely different story than these two idiots tell. We most certainly aren't alone in the vast cosmos. Even if the first " Alien " we find is a tube worm near a thermal vent in an ocean of one of Saturns moons............The Truth is Out there!
No one seems to be aware that flying objects, variously described as disks or cigar shaped, were documented as having been seen by huge numbers of people passing over the skies of major cities in central Europe, most notably Germany, in particular, Dresden, in about the year 1775. There was no published speculation as to their nature or source, only dry as dust descriptions, one charaterizing one of the long cigar-shaped objects as having rows of lights along its longitudinal axis. Among the references to this phenomena that is still available in the English language is the "Books of Charles Fort." Doesn't anyone read anymore?
The power of persuasion. Propaganda, conspiracy. etc. Even today's media jumps on every so called news story before any real facts or proof is presented. By the time the facts are developed the media has already thrown a bunch of guessing and speculation on the airwaves instead of just being journalists and reporting the facts. The public remembers the first things they hear even if it isn't true. And once the public "believes" they know something there is no way to completely correct them. It is all an exercise in psychology.
Is there such a thing as flying saucers? Wow, next you're going to tell me that wrestling is real, bass fishing contests are real, Superman is real. Please stop before it is too late.
YES RShel they are REAL! OMG, what an unbelievably blatant ad for a book. So much for integrity in journalism. I wouldn't go within ten miles of this guy's book now. And, my respect for the entire site just dropped precipitously ...
Talk about being ignortant. There are many people who have had a lot to lose by admiting they have seen very strange unexplainable things in the sky. For instance, commercial pilots, generals in the military, police officers, politicians.
If these people who are obviously not crazy, and have nothing to gain would admit to seeing ufo's, then this off-the-cuff article is totally irresponsible journalism.
Talk about being ignortant. There are many people who have had a lot to lose by admiting they have seen very strange unexplainable things in the sky. For instance, commercial pilots, generals in the military, police officers, politicians.
Stuff!.........The overwhelming and pompous position of the news media with their sword of truth in one hand and their lambs scrolled First Amendment right in the other paints a glorious picture of a group of individuals who have sequestered themselves in a cloak of righteousness and total knowledge of the universe itself! They are the quintessential Mohammed's of the mountain! After taking hours to prepare themselves for the camera (and their loyal followers on the tube) they prance out into the studios and read the porridge prepared for their followers consumption.
If we, as intelligent consumers of the news, believes everything fed to us by any of the news media; in any form; is the complete truth; then we're in trouble! I personally don't believe they really check their stories (sources) as well as they should and in the cases of UFO reporting it becomes an out right joke to them every time the subject turns up. They certainly wouldn't want their followers to think that they would seriously consider the sighting by a credible witness (such as an airline or military pilot); trained observers; of a massive, mile long object not found in any of JANES COMMERCIAL or MILITARY AIRCRAFT identification periodicals to be sound witnesses to an Earth shattering event? My God, what would people think of them? No one ever digs. No one wants to look stupid FOR digging out the truth.
In the late 1950's, while at an air defense command center, more than one ground radar station and more than one aircraft under our control did get radar returns from an object performing aerial maneuvers science says we are not yet capable of. No, no one saw any little green men or a saucer, but something solid enough to reflect radar signals was there. After determining the object posed no direct threat, my crew was told (ordered), in effect, that the incident did not happen. And, no, I personally have not seen either little green men or any extraterestrial vehicles.
I have read several accounts of former pilots and other military personnel describing encounters with "foo-fighters". It seems the best evidence of UFOs is from military sources and therefore classified. Much of this evidence was covered up under Project Bluebook and later Majestic. I also have seen pictures of man made "flying saucers". They were pathetic tiny crafts, incapable of atmospheric flight, at best capable of hovering 10 feet above the ground. I believe the most prominent "flying saucer" was made by a guy named Mohler, he's trying to make flying cars now.
Why would alien craft be saucer-shaped? Ablative heat shields on top and bottom, with crew quarters sandwiched between. No need for rocket engines or boosters if the lift mechanism is electromagnetic and superconductive. I don't know how they would reach the required speeds and maneuverability, but the Air Force might know.
All right unashamed indigineous people speculating about things you only read about. Summer 1973 I and my wife, at that time, along with approximately 20 other car loads of people traveling between Lewiston, Idaho and Moscow, Idaho witnessed two powered craft, one circling over Moscow and the other over the top of the Lewiston hill. After viewng them for several moments the craft over Moscow made a near instantaneous move and hooverd alongside the other craft at the top of the Lewiston hill. Then they moved off at right angles as if being pulled by large magnets, within 2 seconds they had zig zagged their way into the night sky disappearing completely. All of us that had pulled off the road to watch merely started up our vehicles and drove off no one speaking to any one in any of the other cars. I've never publicly told this story before nor could I then get a comment from my wife and according to my son she to this day will not answer or comment on the incident. Erie huh! I only tell this to precede an even odder event that this story led up to;in 1969 or 1970 my parents were fire lookouts on Latour Butte Fire Lookout in Northern Calif. They were actually there for 7 or 8 years but as their story precedes mine I'm just guessing as to the year this event took place. After having seen the two unidentified craft in the night skies over Idaho I mentioned it to my Dad and Mom with my wife with the mummified lips present, expecting to get the family jewels kicked around abit I ended up being the surprised one as my Dad, Archie Bunker himself, said " So did we". I spit and sputtered for a minute to have heard such and admission exude forth from the rock of gibraltar, but managed to say "what did you see'? "It came up the valley below us with a strangely lit blue dome flashed some lights at Soldier Mountain and a set of headlights flashed back."
"Could you see inside the dome"? I quiered
The answer being affirmative I questioned what he seen; "Human beings" was all he said.
What about "Aliens among us" - the theory that aliens have infllitrated all governments of the world and many journalistic operations with Alien spies, cosmetically made to look like humans? Probably, looking to take some of our natural resources without giving humans a dime... you know like humans exploited other humans for gold and such.
What about "Aliens among us" - the theory that aliens have infllitrated all governments of the world and many journalistic operations with Alien spies, cosmetically made to look like humans?
To be so arogant and naive that we are alone in this universe makes one wonder, how we as a species have even come this far! Then there are those who say, why won't these entities contact us, when I say, a species that dedicates a good part of their economic resources to creating weapons to murder one another, is ceratinly not one, I would want to sit and have dinner with.
The only thing any government wants from any contact with an extra-terrestrial species, is to grab any technology, for the purpose of making war.
No intelligence would even want to parley with that sort of reasoning.
Then we have all of these astro-physicists, with all of those radio telescopes, listening to the universe for any sign of contact, to no avail. My answer to that is this, any species with a faster-than-light drive, would also have a faster-than-light communication system, hard to detect a radio message in that, and I suspect, if we ever are able to measure a faster- than- light wake of a starship, which would show in all probability as a form of radiation, not yet being able to measure, we, as a species, would find a crowded universe, with many other species.
We have a TYPE1 technical capability (nuclear fission, electromagnetic generation, internal combustion motors, etc), a TYPE2 technology would have (nuclear fusion, superconductors, electromagnetic propulsion, etc.), a TYPE3 technology would be able to(generate worm holes, for travel between stars, create instentanious matter transport, time travel, and be able to create matter out of energy, create gravity, etc.), and a star travelling species, would not want to give any sort of technological knowhow to a species dedicated to ruling each other by force, it would be like handing a nuclear weapon to a bushman.......
How is the conlcusion that life as we know it is the product of the unique cosmological and physical history of our planet arrogant or naive?
Both of those adjectives seem to already presuppose the existence of life elsewhere. Unless extraterrestrial life in any form becomes a fact obvious to everyone, true believers remain the naive ones.
Why are some people so scared to get their heads around the idea that life might be a just a lucky coincidence and get on with making our short time on earth a little better? Better yet, why do they seem to only communicate in fevered rants and 79-word sentences?
I guess that natural but conquerable fear is why invisible sky gods were invented, and so it seems saucers and little green men should fall right into that category as well.
Thirty-some years ago, Johnny Hart did a BC strip, in which one character says, "If creatures with superior intelligence are visiting us, why haven't they contacted us?" The other character says, "Because of their superior intelligence."
Two reasons for the continuous debunking of UFO reports occur to me. First, the historical fact of the hysteria accompanying Orson Welles' broadcast of "The War of the Worlds," even though the narrator introduced the program by saying it was fiction, mentioned the fictitious nature of the program at every commercial break, and mentioned the fictitious nature of the program at the end of the broadcast. Second, from a logical standpoint, if a non-earthly entity visited, wouldn't they not interfere in our development? Star Trek comparisons aside, if we visited another civilization, wouldn't we limit our contacts to observation, and refrain from interfering? And I mean now, and in the future, not three or four hundred years ago.
This so-called book is nonsense, crap, to put it crudely. Shame on MSN! Idiots like these authors will get what may be the surprise of their lives someday: it is a fact that extraterrestrial beings from far advanced civilizations elsewhere in the universe have been here for centuries, if not millenia, and still visit Earth today in great numbers. What is more, governments all over the world know this to be true, as all hard evidence has been gathered up or confiscated by those in authority in order to maintain secrecy. Experts of stature no less than Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man on the moon, have confirmed this as fact. Many thousands of highly credible witnesses like commercial pilots, police, military personnel, and scientists have reported sightings of UFOs that were exhibitions of what could only have been been the flight of out-of-this world vehicles by virtue of what once were considered physically impossible maneuvers, for example, right-angle turns at high speed and rates of acceleration of several hundred miles an hour per second. Equally unimpeachable and persuasive are the many photos and videos of such incidents, evidence that has held up under one or more rigorous exhaustive technical analyses. The evidence is so overwhelming in favor of alien visitation that disbelief seems to indicate denial of reality on the basis of fear or other psychological dynamics.
That book will probably also have proof that the first flying saucers were made and piloted by the Nazis- they had to do something after they lost WW2! Then probably also, it was not only a US entertainment plot, but the Soviets were also involved, because they always reported about UFOs in their country. The iron curtain and the cold war was all fake, that was actually the UFO plot where US entertainment worked together with the Soviets against the free world!
My wife, I, and others witnessed 4 flying saucers in wing formation in broad daylight not more than 3 football fields length away, maybe 200 feet high in La Jolla California some 40 years ago. They made no sound whatever and were piloted by those who apparently couldn't care less who saw them. Each craft was about 100 feet long, some 25 feet in height, had portholes. And we both had thought Flying Saucers were phoney until then. We reported it to the authorities. There are no aircraft now or even theorized that can travel like that without making a hell of a lot of noise. It was the noise it made, that killed the very expensive Concord Aircraft if you recall. So get the government to fess up. They have plenty of proof and they know all about it. Instead they go around threatening people who dare to talk.
Uh no, actually, the Concord was forever grounded after the first and only crash of one outside of Paris in 2000 or 2001 that killed 113 people. As a matter of fact, France has just lately filed charges of manslaughter against Continental Airlines for causing the Concord to crash due to a broken off piece of metal from a Continetal jet that landed on the runway.
I think what ed means is that the noise prevented the Concorde from being bought by more than just the flag carriers of the nations that developed it, Britain and France. Pan Am and a number of other airlines all had options on the Concorde which they let lapse due to the huge (and mostly irrational) environmentalist protests based on perceived noise damage. Point being that supersonic aircraft (those made by humans, anyway) are damn loud.
Wow! How about that... another conspiracy theory and this one everyone is in on! Oy Vey, get over it! But, that, of course, is just my opinion.
They're REAL... look, the U.S. government even has a form they can fill out when they come to live among us.

I think that is the more likely case.
I wonder if they're legal...
All that's "revealed" here is just one more huge load of BS!
Have a good laugh!
